ESI President speaks at State Department and NED events in Washington

ESI President Gerald Knaus gave a presentation on “The political economy of the Albanian question” at a conference organized by the US Department of State in Washington. Followed by meetings with USAID officials, Mr. Knaus was also invited to speak on a seminar sponsored by the "National Endowment for Democracy’s" (NED) International Forum for Democratic Studies, on state building experiences and recent ESI research, entitled “From Bosnia to Turkey: The EU and State Building”.

Alan Grant is an Irish photographer who travelled extensively in the Balkans and other countries and regions of the world.
