Minna Järvenpää and Gerald Knaus speak on EU Turkey conference

ESI President Gerald Knaus and ESI senior fellow Minna Järvenpää were invited to a conference on Turkey, held in the European Parliament and organised by European MPs Emma Bonio and Marco Pannella. The conference, entitled "Turkey and the European Union: Reasons for a Historic Choice", brought together policy makers to discuss pertinent issues facing the negotiation period for Turkey prior to the Council Decision and the European Parliament vote. Mr. Knaus spoke on the importance of Turkey's accession from a political and geo-strategic perspective..
