Warsaw – ESI discusses the refugee crisis and asylum policy

On 4 July 2016 ESI's Kristof Bender participated in an expert discussion in Warsaw – Good Bye Schengen? Will the refugee crisis lead to a restoration of borders in Europe? – organised by the Institue for Public Affairs and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

He spoke on the panel on "Reform of EU common asylum policy" together with Roderick Parkes, EU Institute for Security Studies, Rafał Rogala, Office for Aliens, Poland, and Anna-Carin Öst, UNHCR Poland Representative.
