David Stewart Howitt David Stewart Howitt je izvršni direktor u Castle European Estates, kompanije specijalizirane za upravljanje aktivom u rastućim tržištima koja u fokusu ima ekonomije u tranziciji na području istočne Evrope. On je preko 15 godina bio uključen u proces tranzicije i širenja Evrope, radeći za širok spektar organizacija, između ostalih British Foreign and Commonwealth Office i Ured Visokog predstavnika u BiH, gdje je bio odgovoran za provođenje politike koja je za cilja imala povrat sve imovine njihovim pravnim vlasnicima. On je detaljno upoznat sa imovinskim pravima u tom regionu, a radio je i na procesu tržišne i političke reforme dok je radio za Evropsku Komisiju. David tečno govori hrvatski / srpski i priznat je stručnjak za region, često javno govori na teme tranzicije, ulaganja i nekretnina. Po povratku u UK 2000.god. David je radio u London School of Economics and Political Science prije nego je postao osnivački direktor Emerging Markets Advisory Corp Ltd (EMAC), kompanije specijalizirane za upravljanje fondovima u rastućim tržištima. Napustio je EMAC  2008 da bi bio izvršni direktor u Castle European Estates. David je jedan od osnivača ESI-ja.

Alan Grant is an Irish photographer who travelled extensively in the Balkans and other countries and regions of the world. Thanks to him, ESI is able to show fascinating pictures of the Balkans: the facades of Tirana, the painted mosques of Travnik, the fabulous old houses of Plovdiv and the spectacular blue of water - dark in the Bay of Kotor, emerald in the river valleys of Bosnia, deep blue in Ohrid, twinkling in the Aegean Sea and on the Bosporus.

Jonathan Lewis lives between London and Istanbul. He moved to London and spent many years studying photography and now specialises in photojournalism, documentary photography and commercial work for a wide variety of private and commercial clients in the UK, Europe and Turkey. His work has appeared in a number of magazines and publications and is used on the ESI website as well.
