Istanbul – ESI in online meeting on “COVID-19 and the EU’s Migration Policies”

ESI's Gerald Knaus addressed the Global Relations Forum (GRF) and GRF Community members at an online meeting sharing his thoughts on the current state of the migration deal between Turkey and the EU. Warning that the recent rise in anti-immigration sentiment can turn the EU into a more closed off state with the COVID-19 crisis, Gerald stressed the need to rebuild trust between Turkey and the EU with regards to the migration deal.
