Nicole Pope Nicole Pope s'est associée à nos recherches en Turquie jusqu'à 2006. De 1989 à 2005, elle était correspondante du quotidien français Le Monde en Turquie. Ses articles ont été publiés dans de nombreux magazines y compris The Economist, The International Herald Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times et The Independent. Avec Huge Pope, elle est le co-auteur du livre «Turkey Unveiled : a History of Modern Turkey». Elle écrit actuellement un livre sur les crimes d'honneur. Avant 1987, Nicole Pope a travaillé pour le Comité International de la Croix Rouge (CICR) à Bagdad (1982-83) et au Sud-Liban (1983-84). Elle a aussi vécu à Téhéran, Chypre et à Bahrein.

Alan Grant is an Irish photographer who travelled extensively in the Balkans and other countries and regions of the world. Thanks to him, ESI is able to show fascinating pictures of the Balkans: the facades of Tirana, the painted mosques of Travnik, the fabulous old houses of Plovdiv and the spectacular blue of water - dark in the Bay of Kotor, emerald in the river valleys of Bosnia, deep blue in Ohrid, twinkling in the Aegean Sea and on the Bosporus.

Jonathan Lewis lives between London and Istanbul. He moved to London and spent many years studying photography and now specialises in photojournalism, documentary photography and commercial work for a wide variety of private and commercial clients in the UK, Europe and Turkey.
