Verena – Marcus – Gerald

ESI started out with a staff of three, working pro bono. To get things off the ground, Marcus Cox, an Australian, and Gerald Knaus, an Austrian, both left their jobs with OHR to commit themselves to creating ESI. Verena Knaus, Gerald's sister, joined the team, having completed her post-graduate studies at Oxford and SAIS in Bologna.
