ESI in the media |

Following the wide echo of Bosnian Power Structures, ESI appeared on the map of European media for the first time.
The Financial Times described ESI as a "think tank changing thinking on Bosnia". The Economist wrote in June 2000:
"recently the ICG's influence in the Balkans has been challenged by that of the European Stability Initiative."
At that time, the small ESI team was still working without office or bank account. But the first steps towards a new think tank had been taken.
