As the two new Macedonian think tanks, CRPM and Reactor, continued to develop, Verena and Eggert organised similar seminars in Pristina, where ESI supported the emergence of a third new policy institute, IKS.
There were more workshops and training seminars in Istanbul, Skopje and Pristina. By the end of 2005, the capacity building project of ESI with CRPM in Skopje came to a successful conclusion. By that time CRPM was already firmly established: it had a number of full and part time research associates, foreign interns, a website and a number of advanced draft reports in English and Macedonian. ESI's cooperation with Reactor and IKS continued into 2006.
