Berlin – ESI lecture on lessons from the expulsions in the Balkan wars

ESI's Gerald Knaus was invited to to a conference on 65 years of the German Federal Expellee Act, organised by the Deutsche Gesellschaft in Berlin. He gave a lecture on lessons from the violent expulsions in the Balkan wars of the 1990s and participated in a debate with Jan Diedrichsen (Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker) and Thomas Herzog (Vizepräsident des Bundesamts für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe, BKK).
