Warsaw – ESI discusses Bosnia and Herzegovina 30 years after Dayton

ESI senior analyst Adnan Ćerimagić took part in a preview screening and discussion of a new documentary film on Bosnia and Herzegovina 30 Years after Dayton, organised by the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) in Warsaw, Poland, on 4 November 2025.
The event brought together diplomats, academics, and policy analysts to reflect on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s post-war transformation, its current political challenges, and the country’s European future. Following the screening, Adnan discussed the film’s themes with Paulina Wankiewicz from OSW, offering ESI’s perspective on the state of democracy, reform, and EU integration in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider Western Balkans.
Earlier in the day, Adnan participated in a closed-door exchange of views with OSW researchers and scholars from the University of Warsaw, focusing on EU enlargement and developments in the Western Balkans. He presented ESI’s latest research and ideas on how to strengthen the credibility and effectiveness of the EU accession process.
