Cres – ESI at Europe’s Futures symposium

ESI’s Kristof Bender participated in the annual symposium of the Europe’s Futures programme, a joint initiative by the IWM Vienna and Erste Foundation, taking place on the Croatian island of Cres from 30 May to 1 June 2024.

Kristof, himself a Europe’s Futures alumni, chaired a session about “The impact of the EU-Sponsored Basic Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on stabilisation, democratisation and integration of the Western Balkans.” The panelist’s were Ilir Deda (IWM Europe’s Futures fellow), Stefan Lehne (Carnegie Europe) and Ioannis Armakolas (ELIAMEP).
