Sarajevo – ESI takes part in ECFR’s Western Balkans Strategy Group
On 20 and 21 November 2024, ESI senior analyst Adnan Cerimagic participated in the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) Western Balkans Strategy Group meeting. Held under the theme “Navigating Geopolitics in the Western Balkans: What are the EU's options to further the integration of the region?”, the event brought together key EU policymakers, diplomats, and leading thinkers. Adnan spoke on the panel “Translating the Draghi Report for the Western Balkans,” where he presented ESI’s latest research and analysis.
Ahead of the meeting, on 19 November, he also joined ECFR’s study visit, which included meetings with foreign diplomats, Bosnian politicians, and civil society organisations, offering valuable insights into the region’s current challenges and opportunities.
