Skopje – ESI at conference on state capture in the Western Balkans

ESI analyst Adnan Cerimagic took part in a conference titled "Why Europe, Why Now?", organised by the Foundation Open Society Macedonia and the think tank Eurothink – Centre for European Strategies. The conference took place in Skopje on 4 May 2018.
Adnan spoke at a panel discussion titled "How to release the states and capture the momentum?" and presented ESI's research on Macedonia and how EU accession process can strengthen the rule of law. Other panelists included Mr Bodo Weber, Senior Associate at the Democratization Policy Council in Berlin, Vladimir Medjak, Vice President of the European Movement in Serbia and Andreja Stojkovski, president of the Eurothink from Skopje.
