Istanbul – The State of European Integration and EU-Turkey Relations: Where Do We Go From Here?

On 17 December, ESI's Gerald Knaus spoke at an event organised by the TÜSİAD Foreign Policy Forum at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. The seminar on "The State of European Integration and EU-Turkey Relations: Where Do We Go From Here?" will explore the current state of Turkey-EU relations with a particular focus on the integration crisis of the EU, the additional challenges that Turkish membership would pose and possible solutions. Gerald did a presentation on "The New European Debate on Turkey, Turks and Islam - And What it Means for the Future of Turkish EU Accession".
