Thessaloniki – ESI takes part in the UN Kosovo Trust-Building Forum
ESI senior analyst Adnan Cerimagic took part in the second United Nations Kosovo Trust-Building Forum, which took place from 21 to 23 November 2023. It was organised under the title “Supporting Togetherness for a Better Future” by the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
Adnan spoke at a panel titled “Trust building as a commitment to peace and stability in the Western Balkans: challenges and opportunities.” Other speakers included Baroness Catherine Ashton, former EU High Representative and Vice President of the European Commission, in charge for the EU Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and Vesna Pusic, former first deputy prime minister and minister of foreign and European affairs in Croatia.
The Forum brought together as participants Kosovo mayors, politicians, academics, civil society, and foreign diplomats. Adnan presented some of ESI‘s research and analysis.
