Alexander Randolph (former staff)
Alexander Randolph (Belgium/United Kingdom) joined ESI as Junior Fellow in November 2020 and is currently completing an MPhil in International Peace Studies at Trinity College Dublin. He holds a degree of Master of Arts with Honours in History from St. Andrews University. His research interests include Sport for Development and Peace (SDP) with a particular focus on nationalism, identity politics, religious fundamentalism, the creation of social capital and reduction of prejudice through intergroup contact and human rights. He is a dual Belgian/British national, fluent in English and speaks Flemish and French. Before starting at trinity, he spent three months volunteering in Machakos (Kenya), working in the livelihoods programme for VSO/ICS.
