Cameron MacBride (Scotland) joined ESI in August 2023. He is currently working towards completing his joint Master’s degree with the University of Glasgow and University of Sarajevo in Central and Eastern European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (CEERES). His studies have specialised in Western Balkans politics and the region’s integration into the European Union. He has worked across a number of previous fields including human rights and post-conflict research in Bosnia and Herzegovina, non-governmental housing organisations in Scotland, and also as a freelance journalist.
