ESI in Bursa: Armenian-Turkish football diplomacy

ESI analysts Nigar Göksel and Ekrem Güzeldere went to Bursa to watch the return soccer match between Armenia and Turkey. Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian and Turkish President Abdullah Gul both attended the match. It was the culmination of a round of "football diplomacy" that began on 6 September 2008, when Turkey's Gul attended a match in Armenia.

Before the match, Nigar and Ekrem participated in a seminar for Armenian and Turkish journalists.
