Cologne – ESI on human rights under pressure at public broadcaster forum

On 22 September, ESI's Gerald Knaus gave a presentation at the "Hörspielforum WDR" in Cologne, a discussion forum of public radio broadcasters in Germany. He spoke on "Human rights under pressure and why empathy is not enough" outlining ways in which to counter the undermining of democratic institutions by authoritarian states and challenges to liberal democracy by populist movements.
