Berlin – ESI lecture on Ukraine and refugees

ESI’s Gerald Knaus was invited to give a guest lecture at a fireside chat of the Circle of Friends of the Catholic Academy Berlin.

In his lecture, Gerald spoke about the current situation in Ukraine and the narratives that define the conflict, where the EU should support European democracies such as Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia and bring them closer, instead of allowing Russia to increase its influence.

Gerald also explained that an airlift of Ukrainian refugees, is needed to distribute them fairly across the EU.
