ESI meetings with Pieter Feith, Javier Solana, and Olli Rehn in Brussels

Gerald Knaus was invited to brief the incoming head of the ICO (International Civilian Office in Kosovo), Dutch diplomat Pieter Feith, and his senior team in Brussels on some of the findings of ESI concerning the effectiveness of international missions in the Western Balkans.

Gerald also met with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and interviewed him for the Return to Europe Balkan documentary series.

Gerald and Alex Stiglmayer then met with EU enlargement commissioner Olli Rehn to find out more about recent developments concerning Balkan and Turkey enlargement and to present ESI's most recent reports.
