Ohrid – ESI at Prespa Forum Dialogue

Kristof in the “fishbowl conversation” on the “Road to the EU” about ESI’s proposal of introducing membership in the EU’s Single Market as an ambitious, meaningful and achievable interim goal.
ESI’s Kristof Bender took part in the Prespa Forum Dialogue organised by the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of North Macedonia at Lake Ohrid on 1 and 2 July 2021. Kristof was a panelist at the session on “Civil society and the media in the regional and European integration process”.
He also spoke in the “fishbowl conversation” on “The road to the EU” (see clip above) and was rapprteuer on the Minister of Foreign Affairs Session on “Building Confidence through Dialogue”. Kristof took the opportunity for meetings with various officials, including with Deputy Prime Minister Nikola Dimitrov of North Macedonia and Deputy Foreign Minister Faruk Kaymakcı of Turkey.
