Verena Knaus and Kristof Bender participated at a seminar about "Power after Peace: The Political Economy of Post-Conflict Statebuilding" at Reading University on 30 May 2009. The previous evening Kristof spoke at a panel discussion on "Lessons learned and not learned from two decades of peacebuilding" at King's College London. Other participants included Suzan Woodward, Professor at the City University of New York, Michael Pugh, Professor at Bradford University, Mark Hoffman of the London School of Economics and Mats Berdal, Professor at King's College London.
