London – ESI at the UBS European Conference 2018: "Immigration: Threat to Europe Unity or Thriving Opportunity?"

ESI's Gerald Knaus took part in the 8th European Conference of the UBS Group where he presented ESI's latest proposals on European migration policy.
The panel debate he contributed to also was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas on migration policy with other leading actors in the field. Offside the conference, Gerald met with British MPs and ministers, the Spanish Ambassador for Migration Issues and attended a meeting at the UK Foreign Office together with ESI colleague John Dalhuisen.
Gerald also used the opportunity of his stay in London to record a podcast with the European Council on Foreign Relations, discussing ESI's proposal on EU entry bans to protect human rights:
