ESI's Gerald Knaus will speak at the Polish EU Presidency's Conference on the Balkans on "Creating a better climate for enlargement – The role of the media in EU member states" on 22 September.

On 23 September he will speak at another two events:

• demosEUROPA: "Turkey's regional ambitions: opportunities and challenges for the EU"
• PAUCI: "Can intervention work? Lessons from Bosnia to Afghanistan"
