Istanbul – ESI at the 12th Bosphorus Summit: “People searching for a place in the world”
ESI’s Gerald Knaus participated in a hybrid panel on refugee policy at the 12th Bosphorus Summit organised by the International Cooperation Platform.
The International Cooperation Platform aims at contributing to the strengthening of partnership and cooperation among participating countries and at addressing global and regional challenges more effectively. Leading statesmen, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and opinion makers are coming together every year to discuss current challenges, potential solutions, and future opportunities.
The other participants on Gerald’s panel were Adnan Khan, Journalist, Turkey; Ayşegül Eriş, Deputy General Coordinator Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants, Turkey; Çağrı Hürmüzlü, Policy Officer, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Switzerland; and Hasan Abu Nimah, Senator, Jordan. The panel was moderated by Deniz Sert, Faculty of Social Sciences, Özyeğin University, Turkey.
