Cologne – ESI at the 20th Symposium on Asylum Policy

ESI’s Gerald Knaus was invited to participate in the 20th Symposium on Asylum Policy organised by the Cologne Refugee Council and Caritas Cologne.

Gerald’s panel was on “Prospects for Refugee policy at European level.” In his presentation, he outlined ESI’s proposal on humane borders. He also focused on the current Ukrainian refugee crisis and ESI’s call for an airlift to aid refugees and neighbouring countries.

Gerald debated with Stefan Keßler (Jesuit Refugee Service Berlin, Deputy Director).
