Götzis – ESI at workshop on borders, asylum, and refugees

ESI’s Gerald Knaus was invited to a workshop on the " Future of human rights policy in Austria and Europe"organised by Humanity Memorial Group in Götzis, Austria. Due to current events, Gerald spoke about the evacuation of Afghans after the fall of Kabul and the situation at Afghanistan’s borders. In addition, he outlined his take on the European debate on migration and refugees and made concrete proposals for a new, humane approach on borders and asylum, including the expansion of resettlement programmes.
