Ivana Jakovljević (Serbia) joined ESI as a junior fellow in September 2013. In Serbia, she was an active member of the NGOs "European Movement in Serbia" and "Centre of Modern Skills", promoting European values, women's voting and other issues. Ivana holds a Master degree in Southeastern European Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an Advanced Master degree in European Integration and Development from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She has written numerous papers on the EU enlargement process and its challenges. She speaks Serbian, English and Greek. At ESI, she deals with visa liberalisation, the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries.
