Talk in Belgrade at the Economic Summit on the Serbian paradox

Drawing on ESI’s discussion paper The cost of non-Europe I present research on the state of the Serbian economy at the 7th summit of the Republic of Serbia.

The primary objective of the Summit is to examine the opportunities and challenges of political and economic cooperation in the Southeast European region with an emphasis on the most recent developments and future prospects in Serbia.

Among the other speakers are Mladjan Dinkic, Minister of Economy & Regional Development of the Republic of Serbia, Cameron Munter, US Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, Harald Hirschhofer, Resident Representative, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, and Wolfgang Duchatczek, Vice Governor of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.
